Exhibitions

Jean’s work, especially seascapes inspired by the Solway Firth, has been exhibited for many years at The Gincase, a cafe and craft barn on the Solway coast. Unfortunately, this closed during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Jean also exhibited regularly at the Edwin Talbot Gallery in Carlisle, which also ceased as a gallery in 2020, moving onto other projects.

Jean is holding a one day exhibition and sale of these works and many of her more recent pictures on Saturday, 11th September, 2021. The venue will apply the current Government COVID-19 guidance for village halls and community centres, and is:
THE VICTORY HALL
Dalston, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA5 7QB

Julie Kimber, a successful local ceramicist, will also be displaying her work at the exhibition, and there will be a 'pop up' cafe at this event, put on by and in aid of a local charity, DEWODE. It is a charity based in rural north Cumbria to support an impoverished rural community in northern Uganda. www.facebook/dewode
